Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Trade Forge LLC, a Georgia limited liability company ("TradeForge," "we," "us"), handles personal information. We are the data controller for the information described below, except where we act on your behalf as a service provider for your own customers' data (Section 7).
1. What We Collect
The categories of personal information we collect are:
- Account information you provide at signup (name, email, business name).
- Business & operational information you give Forge during discovery (crew size, call-volume ranges, calendar and phone details, and similar details needed to build and price your software).
- Your customers' information that your software needs to do its job (for example, the name, phone number, or address of a person your software books, contacts, or invoices) — see Section 7.
- Connected-account data — if you connect third-party accounts (calendar, accounting, phone number), the data those integrations require to function.
- How you first arrived at this website — the search, link, or campaign that brought you here (see "How You Found Us" below).
2. How You Found Us
When you first arrive at tradeforge.site we store a short record in your own browser noting how you got here: the campaign tags in the link you clicked, the site that referred you, and which page you landed on. If you later create an account, that record is attached to it so we know which of our efforts actually reach trades businesses.
This stays in your browser's local storage on our own domain. There is no cookie, no third-party analytics, and no advertising tag — we do not follow you to other websites and we share none of it. Clearing your browser data removes it. We keep only the first arrival, never a history of your visits.
3. Call Recording
TradeForge does not currently record telephone calls, and does not store call audio or call transcripts — no capability that does so is active on any account. If a future capability involves call recording, this policy will be updated first, and the capability will remain off until you explicitly turn it on.
4. Text Messages (SMS)
Some TradeForge capabilities send text messages — an appointment reminder, an update on a job in progress, or a reply when someone calls a business and nobody can pick up. A business may also send you an occasional review request, a referral invitation, or an offer if you have not booked in a while. These are sent in the business's own name, to people who contacted that business.
We never sell mobile numbers, and we never share them with anyone for marketing. A mobile number is passed only to the messaging carrier that has to deliver the message, and to no one else. No mobile number collected here is shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing, and none is used for advertising of any kind.
How often. Message frequency varies — messages are sent in response to something you did, such as booking work or calling the business, rather than on a schedule. A missed-call reply is limited to one per caller per day.
Costs. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. TradeForge does not charge you for receiving a message.
Stopping them. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them; reply HELP for help. Opting out of texts never affects the work itself — the business can still reach you the way it always could.
5. How We Use It
We use your information to operate, maintain, secure, and support your software; to calculate and confirm your price; to detect and prevent abuse; and to provide support when you contact us. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your data or your customers' data for advertising or to build products for anyone but you.
6. Service Providers & AI Processing
We use infrastructure and service providers to operate TradeForge — hosting, database, payment processing, phone/SMS delivery, email delivery, and AI processing (the AI models that power features such as Forge). Each provider is bound by contract to protect your data and to use it only to provide their service to us, not for their own purposes. We share with them only what each needs to do its part.
7. Data Isolation
Every customer's data is isolated at the database level — no piece of software or report can read another customer's data, enforced automatically, not just by application logic.
8. Your Customers' Data (Our Role)
Some of the information we handle is about your customers, not you — for example, someone your software books or invoices. For that data, you decide what is collected and why (you are the controller), and TradeForge acts on your behalf as a service provider: we process it only to run your software for you, under your instructions, and we never sell it or use it for our own purposes. You are responsible for having the right to provide that data.
9. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then delete or de-identify it within a reasonable period after your account closes — except where we must keep certain records longer to meet legal, tax, or financial recordkeeping obligations, or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When a capability has a specific retention period, that period is stated where you turn it on.
10. Your Rights
Whatever state you live in, you can: request a copy of your data; request deletion of your account and associated data (subject to the recordkeeping exceptions in Section 8); ask us to correct inaccurate information; and ask any question about this policy. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws have these same rights, plus the right not to be discriminated against for using them. Because we do not sell or "share" your personal information (as those terms are defined under the CCPA and similar laws) and we run no advertising trackers, there is no sale or targeted-advertising opt-out to exercise. To make any request, contact us via Support or the email below; we verify requests against your account before acting.
11. Data Security
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production systems is limited to the people who need it to operate the service, and every access is logged. If a breach ever affects your data, we will notify you by email without undue delay, and as required by applicable law, and tell you what happened, what was affected, and what we are doing about it.
12. Children
TradeForge is a business tool and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. If an update materially affects how we handle your data, we will email the address on your account at least 30 days before it takes effect and post the new date at the top of this page. Earlier versions are available on request.
