A trade school for the business of the trades
Your apprenticeship taught you the craft. Somewhere between sweating your first joint and pulling your first permit, somebody taught you how to do the work. Nobody taught you how to run the business — how to price a job so it pays, collect an invoice without burning the relationship, or turn one good customer into ten.
That is what TradeForge Trade School teaches. Not brazing, not bending, not wiring — your trade school and your apprenticeship do that, and we grant no license hours. We teach the half that decides whether the craft becomes a company.
What's in the first intake
The Foundations track: three courses, ten lessons, in the order a growing business needs them.
- Price It Right — why the busiest truck in town can still go broke, and the arithmetic that fixes it. Your overhead per billable hour, your real cost, margin as a decision, and raising prices without losing your nerve. Four lessons.
- Get Paid — the work is done; here is how the money actually arrives. Quote follow-up that recovers jobs lost to silence, invoices that get paid this week, and deposits asked for before the truck rolls. Three lessons.
- Win the Work — reviews as a system instead of luck, the customers you already won, and the one protected hour a week that runs the whole business. Three lessons.
Every lesson is built around one worked example with real numbers, and ends with a worksheet you fill in with your own invoices the same night. No theory for theory's sake, no guru talk, and no promises about what you'll earn — just the arithmetic and the scripts, in plain English.
A coach, not a webinar
Every student gets their own private channel — visible to you and nobody else — where a coach answers questions about your actual business. Not a webinar, not a group chat you'll never post in.
What it costs, and when it opens
A low flat monthly price, published the day enrollment opens — priced so a first-year apprentice can afford it, because that is who needs it most. The first intake opens alongside TradeForge's launch.
