Earn every month on the contractors you already serve
Point a contractor our way. When he signs up, we pay you a share of what he pays us — every month, for as long as he stays a customer. It costs nothing to join, there is nothing to sell, and nothing for your counter staff to learn.
Two o’clock on a Tuesday, and a new customer is calling a contractor who is under a house.
He cannot answer.
By the time he is back in the truck, that customer has already called the next name on the list.
He never knows what it cost him.
- 2:00 The call is answered in his business name. The address and the problem are taken, and the job is booked.
- 2:01 A text goes back to the caller before he is out from under the house.
- 6:40 The estimate goes out that evening.
- Thu The follow-up goes without him remembering to send it.
- Done The deposit is collected, and a week later the review is asked for.
He never stopped working.
Not one of those five things needed him — and not one of them is lost, either. Every system reports into the same screen. It is called the Hut, and it is the office: the phone, the schedule, the money and the paperwork, in one place instead of five.
Needs you. One screen holds the short list of things only he can answer, so twenty-eight systems running never turns into twenty-eight things to check.
And it goes in his pocket. Once his account is made, the Hut asks to go on his phone’s home screen — there is nothing to hunt for in an app store, and his crew installs nothing at all.
Twenty-eight systems. He takes the ones that fit his trade, pays one flat monthly price with no contract, and we set them up for him. Everything his own customers see carries his business name, not ours.
Three steps, and only the first is yours
-
You introduce us
A card, a word at the counter, or an email with his name on it. That is the whole job.
-
We do the rest
We work out which systems fit his trade, build them, set them up, support him and bill him. You are never in the middle of it.
-
You get paid every month he stays
Not once — every month, for the life of the account, with a statement that shows the math.
How you are paid
20% of what that contractor pays us for software, every month, for as long as he stays a customer. Not a one-time finder’s fee and not a first-year bonus — the same share in year three as in month one.
Nothing is added to his bill because he came from you. He pays what anyone pays; your share comes out of ours.
One-time setup is not split, because it covers work we do once at cost and there is nothing recurring in it to share.
The first commission on an account is paid once that account’s 14-day refund window has closed. We pay on money we keep.
| Plumber Pro, 8 systems | $492 / mo |
| Your share, month 1 | $98 |
| Month 12 | $98 |
| Month 36 | $98 |
| Over a year | $1,180 |
A real bundle at its real price, not a round number — the same figures the letter quotes. What a contractor pays depends on the systems he takes, and we go through his on the call.
You should never have to take our word for what you are owed
On the first business day of each month you get a statement listing every account you introduced, what it paid, your percentage and your total — paid by check or transfer, whichever you prefer.
| Hollis Plumbing & Drain | $492.00 | $98.00 |
| Redmond Heating & Air | $474.00 | $95.00 |
| Barrett Electric | $225.00 | $45.00 |
| Paid to you | $238.00 |
Example figures. Your own statement names the real accounts and the real amounts.
What you never have to do
- Sell it, demonstrate it, quote it or close it
- Carry stock, or put a dollar in up front
- Handle a support call — he calls us
- Bill anyone, or chase anyone for money
- Train your counter staff on anything
- Take responsibility for the software
The questions we usually get
Where we are, honestly
We are new, and we would rather show you than tell you. Pick one contractor you deal with and we will set his systems up at no charge. Watch what it does for his business for a month. If nothing comes of it, you are out one phone call.
The two rules
One. When you recommend us, tell your customer you are paid for it. One sentence — “I get a cut if you sign up” — is enough. The Federal Trade Commission requires it, and your customer deserves to hear it from you.
Two. There is never a charge to participate. If anybody ever asks you to pay to be part of this program, it is not us.
Teach the trades? The same program works for schools
If you run a trade program — a high school shop class, a technical college, an apprenticeship — this works the same way, and it starts before anybody owes anybody anything.
- Your students get the Trade School free. Not a discount — the courses are free with any ToolHut account, and always were. Estimating, pricing a job, reading a contract, getting paid.
- You get curriculum you did not have to write, on the business side of the trade that most programs have no time for.
- When a graduate goes out on his own and sets his business up with us, your school earns on that account every month, for as long as he stays — the same share, the same statement, the same payment as any other partner on this page.
- It costs the school nothing, and there is nothing for an instructor to sell. A code on the board is the whole of it.
Tell us about your program when you apply and we will set it up as a school rather than a counter — same agreement, same terms.
Start with one contractor and see what happens.
Apply to carry a code, and we will set up a free build for one of your accounts.
Read the partner agreement first — one page, and it is the same one you agree to when you apply.
