Change Orders
Get the extra work agreed in writing before you bill for it.
What it does
Add a change to a job with a price, and your customer gets an email with an approve or decline link. What they approved is kept exactly as they saw it, with the date, and lands on their invoice automatically. Anything they have not approved is left off — and you are told before the invoice goes out, not after.
Exactly what happens
These are the behaviors the build is tested against before it goes live.
What we need from you
Answered once, during setup. Forge asks; you never touch a settings screen.
- the price above which you want the customer asked
- whether approved changes go on the invoice automatically
- how long to wait before one reminder
What it costs
Every account starts from a $49 monthly platform fee, and a one-time $299 setup. Larger crews pay a size multiplier, and running more than one package takes 10% off the rest. Your actual total is shown before you pay anything — nothing is charged until you approve the quote.
Going over does not switch anything off, and nothing is added to your bill on its own. If your volume settles above the line we talk to you first and you agree to the new price before it starts — that is the whole policy.
