Job Status Updates

"On our way", "running late", "job done" — emailed to the customer automatically, so they stop ringing to ask.

What it does

When a job moves to a status you have chosen to share, we email the customer an update in your business name. You pick which statuses go out and whether to include an arrival time.

Exactly what happens

These are the behaviors the build is tested against before it goes live.

When a job moves to a shared status the customer is emailed a branded update tied to the job
When a job moves to a status the owner does not share nothing is sent

What we need from you

Answered once, during setup. Forge asks; you never touch a settings screen.

  • which statuses to share
  • wording
  • ETA sharing on/off

What it costs

+$49per month, added to your plan

Every account starts from a $49 monthly platform fee, and a one-time $299 setup. Larger crews pay a size multiplier, and running more than one package takes 10% off the rest. Your actual total is shown before you pay anything — nothing is charged until you approve the quote.

Fair use, in the open
Included 200 job updates a month
Past that $5 per extra 50

Going over does not switch anything off, and nothing is added to your bill on its own. If your volume settles above the line we talk to you first and you agree to the new price before it starts — that is the whole policy.
